Summer doesn't live here anymore

Today a friend and I made one last attempt at aestival bliss on Sunset Beach. The good news: there weren't many people around (it's so important to snag a good log!) and we got some great shots. The bad news: summer seemed to have vacated Vancouver. Up-close we looked like two plucked turkeys, deep in conversation about which type of cuisine would best bring the color back in our faces.

 I'm gonna call this an extreme sport.

I like to think I'd make a great pedicurist. Just look at these ten happy customers.
