The following is my first
30 for 30 outfit and a bold one at that. Two different prints are two too many for me on a typical day, but I'm taking the word "challenge" very seriously and getting out of my comfort zone. What's strange is that I don't fear color (I've been told by acquaintances that my top and bottom
don't match several times and I certainly told them where to go in a rather eloquent inner monologue), but print is a different beast altogether. These patterned tights get out once a year, also because they quickly become uncomfortable on the soles of my feet as the pattern gets embedded in my skin. As for the rest of my accomplices, the striped cardigan and black skirt are everyday items and the blouse is new -
she had me at "machine washable."
Cardigan, Tommy Hilfiger. Blouse, J.Crew. Skirt, Banana Republic. Belt, Eddie Bauer. Tights, ?. Pumps, Nine West.
Drink it in.
