We don't get April showers - we get year-round showers. That is why you can become obsessed with owning the perfect trench coat around here, maybe even start a small collection. Mine has only made it to two but I have my eye on several beauties this season. I'm lurking in the windows, waiting for the right time to pounce... on a substantial sale. Ah, the thrill of the chase.

I'm definitely loving the navy and red--one of my favorite combos! And the ruffle detail on that trench is so pretty! My goal this year is to find a good trench!
I completely agree with your theory on the perfect trench. I'm always on the hunt and recently nabbed a pretty perfect one on sale at Target in a lovely shade of red and I'm in love. I have three trench coats including the new one and I love them all super much. Yours is darling with the ruffles. Side note....where do you live? I'm in Seattle and it sounds like you may be close with all that rain talk ;)

April showers bring May showers which bring June showers . . . Ah, I can totally relate! I desperately need a raincoat or two! Trench, non-trench, whatever! Waterproof is a must lest we rust in the Pacific Northwest. Ooh, ruffles are a bonus!
