Tired of going to the same bars, ordering the same old drink? (although I doubt one could ever tire of Gin and Tonics). Smack in the middle of Gastown, L'Abattoir is your solution. I'm a sucker for sparkling concoctions, so I went with the most impractical cocktail - aesthetically exquisite, but with a lemon peel that tickled my face. I guess you could say I was doubly amused that night.

Are you normally a gin and tonic kind of gal? I only recently discovered g+t and am kind of in love with it. If I tire of it, I will have to give the Alfonso a try.
That looks delightful! And too funny about that giant lemon peel jutting out.
I'm partial to Moscow Mules (vodka + ginger ale + lime). YUM!
