Whistler on a Whim

Cardigan & shell, J.Crew. Skirt, Banana Republic. Flats, Browns.

Dear Readers,
I just returned from an overnight trip to Whistler where I neither skied, nor hiked. In other words, get ready for a long overdue restaurant review (see dinner ensemble above) and some mountainside photography.

We're trying to thnk of where to go for a mini-vacay at the end of May. Whistler may be an idea! I've only been once and I neither skied nor hiked. I was five months pregnant, had a 22-month-old toddler, and was content with shopping. I eagerly (an adverb! Are you pro or con?) await your review!

I love the orange-blue combo -- especially against the backdrop of that painting!

Gorgeous outfit - that top is so pretty! I made a quick day trip to Whistler way back in 2005 (I was in Vancouver for a color conference). I just loved it!

That painting is a perfect background. Gorgeous. I love the mix of colors and the neckline of the shirt.

I love the neckline of that top, and you are rocking the warm tones. No matter what activities you engaged in on your vacation, I hope it was enjoyable!

(Also, I can't believe I wasn't fully conscious of my green/blue/cool color leanings until you mentioned it. I looked through my archives and I do wear a lot of blue. Thanks for being so observant!)
