We Can Do It!

Shirt, J.Crew. Shorts, Banana Republic. Scarf, H&M. Belt, Joe Fresh. Sandals, Nine West.

For the past few days, I have been busy planning and packing for a trip, which means my posts may become scarcer in July. One of the cities I'll be visiting is London and would love some recommendations of non-touristy sights. Anyone? Bueller... Seriously, though, I know quite a few bloggers are British, so don't hold out on me, mkay?

London is my very favorite...went to school there for a year and also honeymooned there...you must visit the Portabello Road Market, British War Museum and buy lunch at the Harrods Food Hall and picnic in Kensington Park.
Love the bow!

I love this outfit with the headscarf!

Hmmm, London. Well, the cool place these days to hang out seems to be Dalston. You could go to Broadway market in Hackney. The hipsters are a bit much, but there aren't really any tourists. I recommend all the parks, famous or not, and really loved hanging out on Hampstead Heath in the summer. I think Hampstead in general is a pricey but lovely area. Go to Hummingbird Bakery in Soho for red velvet cupcakes. Get Meal Deals from Boots (a pharmacy, but you can get a sandwich/salad, a drink and a snack for £3.25 or something) if you want a cheap lunch.

Indian food at Tayyabs in Whitechapel is really cheap and good, although be prepared to queue. And there's always Brick Lane.

The Natural History Museum, while undeniably touristy, is awesome, as is the Victoria and Albert across the street.

Walk down the Thames. : )

Hope this helps a bit! Enjoy!
