Without A Net

Dress, Club Monaco. Cardigan, J.Crew. Belt, Eddie Bauer. Wellies, Hunter.

Last night, Miss Arnold and I played badminton without a net, in a squash court at night. And since it is such a well-mannered sport, we came up with a laundry list of polite curse words to use when the birdie is not cooperating. Highlights included: Arnold Palmer, Montauk, and TĂȘte de Moine. Although I got a bad case of "badminton shoulder," I'm looking forward to our next match - the perfect excuse to exercise my creative cursing.

I love this! The polka dots, the green and pink, the fact that there's a belted cardigan - love!

When did badminton become the sport of choice for the non-athletic?

Get yourselves to the croquet green and start hitting some sticky wickets.

Does anyone else have a super difficult time saying Arnold Palmer? I really have to give it some thought before I spit it out. Great Outfit!! I love the big dots!

ha. it always cracks me up when people order an "arnold palmer" like they have the inside knowledge that it's just lemonade and iced tea! anyway, your big dots are adorable with rain boots!

Thanks for the positive words in your comment. What I like is the simplicity in lines and the good fit of your clothes.

Oh my goodness. How delightful! This outfit is well styled--large polka dots are so fun with kelly green and wellies. And I could definitely get on board with badminton and Arnold Palmers. I'd be the one sipping my drink on the side-lines, of course. Thanks for stopping by my blog with your sweet comments.
