Nourishing Mother

Blouse & cardigan, J.Crew. Skirt, Brooks Brothers. Scarf, Holt Renfrew. Sandals, Geox.

Dinner and a movie, Guidette-style: Zefferelli's Spaghetti Joint followed by the latest episode of Jersey Shore. That was my Thursday night and I enjoyed every fist-pumping minute of it. I also read that Town & Country piece about Bard as the new Brown (this link is merely a review, unfortunately) and got hopelessly nostalgic for my own alma mater. I guess the easiest fix would be ordering an ill-fitting T-shirt online and wearing it with quirky, liberal-artsy pride.
P.S. Did your "academic committee" insist that you take a modern dance class to improve your college experience? No? Just mine?

Your post's title made me raise an eyebrow in surprise...then your post made me laugh. Love the way you make random (in a good way) colors work perfectly together. My academic advisors insisted on statistics -- or math of any kind for that matter..Would've preferred having yours!

Ps. I have never watch Jersey Shore can't get over her poof! Ha ha

Haha! Modern dance? Definitely not something my committee foisted upon me. At my liberal arts college, however, they did convince this English major to take a physics class, so...

Love your color blocks.I need to try mix color outfit. I believe you will enjoy the dance class. I wish I had the courage to take the dance lessons when I was in college. I started taking ballroom dance lessons when I was 40 years old.

I love the pink and green together. So girly and preppy in the best way!

I wouldn't have minded a modern dance class, but still, that's random that they insisted on you taking one. When do we get to see your new moves? :)

love the color combo going on here. Pink & Green look so great together. My school did not insist on a dance class but I wish it would have. I would have aced that class.

I love how it's called a 'dignified spaghetti joint'- makes it that much classier! ;) You look fab- I love all the colours and *sigh* Holt renfrew- I've never done anything but window shop there! Have a fab weekend!

I seriously love your color pairings! Pink and green together is so adorable, but I never would have done it myself!

P.S. That's kind of strange. My academic committee never insisted I take such-and-such class at all! Is it possible you could substitute in a different class that you might like better?
