I Am Hawaii

Cardigan and shell, J.Crew. Skirt, Modern Amusement. Belt, Eddie Bauer. Pumps, Banana Republic.

I know it looks like I'm wearing a lei, but I'm not! Not that it would be a bad thing. Hawaii sounds really good about now. When I last wore this fluffy ruffle-collared shell in a restaurant, the Chinese waitress exclaimed: "You ARE Hawaii!" I've been called worse things.

"You ARE Hawaii!" is hilarious. Hawaii is not a bad thing to be called, though. It's beautiful and scenic and relaxing and popular. I'd take it. :)

Love the geometric print of that skirt!

what a vibrant outfit! The ruffle and belted cardigan along with the skirt all give it such a quirky feel--which I love :)

The only thing I can think of that's better than being called Hawaii is actually being in Hawaii. Totally love the skirt and the embellished top is so pretty!
