Office Wisdom

Trench coat, J.Crew. Hat, The Gap. Scarf, Macy's. Belt, Joe Fresh. Pumps, Banana Republic

You know how in the 2005 Dundies episode of The Office Pam polishes off other people's drinks and says " No, no, cause the ice melts, and then it's like second drink? " (source). That's kind of how I feel about outerwear every single day. Yes, I wore this yesterday on top of my farming ensemble and yes, I am counting it as a second outfit. Now, don't fret because I thought of it first. If you had my lazy bones, you too could justify pretty much anything. Vices, hobbies, vices disguised as hobbies... The sky's the limit.

If it weren't for that source, I don't think I would've been able to trust your quote.

I was just wondering why we haven't seen this jacket yet. It's adorable!

OF COURSE you have a ruffly J Crew trench, of COURSE. Trying not to hate on the perfection here but you're kinda pushing it with the olive BR pumps, too..

I am so envious of your sweet sweet trench coat, both because it has a ruffle going along it and because it's out and in use now!

I kind of want to live in your courtyard or something. It's always a stunning backdrop!

In retrospect, that statement sounded much creepier than intended. I stand by it though.

I love how you reference the Offic all the time. Some people just don't get it, and I just don't get those people. It's hilarious!
Also, this trench is to die for. The little ruffle detailing along the edge makes it more fabulous than a plain old trench. It's little extras that make a classic piece a STANDOUT piece.
And the shoes... I need green shoes.
And... sorry to rub in my fair weather fortune. Every time I post sunny pics I feel a pang of guilt for my northern friends.

Ohmygosh, I'm discreetly panting over that trench, I love your Office reference and I definitely own those shoes - you're getting a slot in the "People I want to be friends with" folder of my Google Reader! :)

I need that umbrella to help the horrible rain here in PA and the ruffles on the trench coat would definitely brighten my day!

ps. I have never watched the Office, but maybe I'll start! :)
