New Yew

Sweater, J.Crew. Skirt, Banana Republic. Sunglasses, Winners. Scarf, American Apparel. Belt, Eddie Bauer. Flats, Ralph Lauren.

Looking at these photos, I'm kicking myself for not pairing navy with pink more often (I last raved about it here, a human gestation ago). And, as usual, I'm behind on my posts so this is not the ensemble I'll be donning this eve for the reopening of Yew Restaurant at the Four Seasons in downtown Vancouver. Any local bloggers out there who'd like to join me (and act impressed by my drinking skills)? The first Boulevardier is on me.

Pink and navy are always such a classic combo together and something you should try often. Looks great on you! Love the printed scarf and the sea horse on your sweater!

Agreed about the color combo! I would have loved to join but vacation is over for me. Vancouver truly is only about two hours away (with quick border crosing), but it's never a day trip. Is it because of the imaginary line in the sand?

If you're ever in Seattle and go to Art in the Four Seasons here . . . BTW, I grew up on Yew Lane! (now you know the answer to my secret question).

I think navy pretty much goes with every color; navy and pink is one of my most favorite color combos :)
