The One With The Orange Pants

Sweater, Tommy Hilfiger. Capri pants, J.Crew. Scarf, Icici. Belt, Eddie Bauer. Pumps, Nine West. Flats, Geox.
Photos (of me) by Joylin N.

You know that scene in Breakfast at Tiffany's when Holly claims that she is happy and "fat as a pig" from dating Jose Da Silva Pereira? Her whistling pot of chicken and saffron rice explodes, so naturally Paul suggests a restaurant, to which she suggestively replies: "Oh, that would be fun, as long as it's some place I can go like this." Like what?!? If the audience is meant to understand that she is dressed too casually, or like a slob of sorts, well, times have certainly changed. My similar attire in these photos (sweater, slacks) would get me in just about anywhere and what's worse, so would the ubiquitous Lululemon yoga pants. And you know what? Those pants aren't even that comfortable when you're bloated from having stuffed your face with unagi. I would know.

You've got absolutely great style, one of the best I've seen the last few days. And you are a natural poser. I get very surprised when I look at fotos from decades ago of how well dressed people were, both men and women.I've had it with all the cheapy stuff that goes around. That's why I try to learn how to sew
