Tangerine Dreams

Cardigan and shirt, J.Crew. Skirt and pumps, Banana Republic.

I took a big leap of faith in buying and wearing what I used to refer to as stripper heels. I see now that they are not meant for the exotically inclined, but you have to understand where I was coming from. I have three pairs of shoes that I wear on a daily basis: all ballet flats, all patent leather (for practical reasons), all conservative and severely judgmental. These ladies who lunch have excellent pedigrees but very little tolerance for overt sexiness. They might be persuaded to respect a kitten heel, but a platform pump? Let`s just say she won`t be invited to any of their living room trunk shows.

i would wear heels more, but im just awful walking in them! these definitely don't qualify as stripper heels! stripper heels involve straps and clear heels! ;)

Yes, Lucite soles perhaps? Like I said, my judgmental flats influenced me.

Those, my dear, are definitely not stripper heels! I was just thinking how cute they are as I scrolled through your photos. I am normally not a fan of anything stripperesque, but in this case, keep rocking the 'stripper heels'! :p

Oh HECK yes. I'd be feeling a little self-conscious if I were a ballet flat right now.

Your color combos are ingenious - always!

you straight up look like you walked out of a J.Crew ad! I love the bright cardigan and your ruffled blouse and even those heels! I almost always wear flat shoes or sneakers (I just hate wearing uncomfortable shoes and from my dealings with heels over 2" they're just that: uncomfortable) but I think these heels are totally demure and in a great color :)

Love the colours of this outfit... though you make me feel quite scandalous about some of my heels if you are calling those pretty shoes stripper heels!!
